Description

In this course you will learn how to do password cracking following a hands on approach. We will be extracting and cracking passwords from PDF, Word, Excel and RAR files as well as dumping and cracking user passwords from Windows and Linux systems.

This course will also help the students to understand the core concepts around password cracking including hashing, cracking methodology and the different cracking modes. Once students have finished this course they will be ready to easily perform password cracking to retrieve credentials on a real life scenario.

No previous knowledge is requred for this course aside from basic Linux and Windows command line understanding. All concepts will be explained from scratch to make it easier for the students to understand the different lessons. An exercise is provided to wrap the course up and ensure students understood the content of the course correclty. Answer to the exercise are provided as part of the course.
