clients, wanting to promote greater value and meaning to their lives,
then this is the course for you.
I'm
Debbie, an Occupational Therapist who works with individuals and their
families who are struggling to cope with significant changes from major
trauma, disease or disability.
OTs
adopt a holistic approach to rehab and are trained in physical and
mental health. I've been in OT for many years. I can offer you real
insight from over 30 years worth of hands on experience in a range of
clinical settings both in the UK and US, and from supporting people
successfully in their own homes. I would like to share some of my
experience and knowledge with you.
I
aim to empower people to maximise their independence and safety,
restore meaningful activity and enhance relationships throughout life.
By
taking this course, I will provide you with a basic understanding about
the brain and its functions, give better insight about how injury can
effect that and suggest practical solutions and tools you can use to
enhance interactions and working relationships long term.
