In this Advance Tango course, you will learn Back Sacadas, Ganchos, Enrosques, Colgadas, and Volcadas. These moves are very difficult and require practice.
Like the Front Sacadas, Back Sacadas are a replacement steps, just this time we will be stepping backward instead of forward. Ganchos, or hooks, is a movement where we will wrap our legs around each other. We will learn Enrosques, or screws, from Mingo's 8 Count Turn. It's advised that you know this turn, see the Intermediate+ course to learn this.
Then we will learn Colgadas and Volcadas. These mean hanging and overturning respectively. These moves deal with off-axis movements and require us to trust each other. Don't worry, we will do a dance trust exercise to prepare for these difficult figures.
